INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND CARETOOLS- Standard woodworking tools can be used when working with LifeTime Lumber products.- For best results, use carbide tipped blades.- Safety goggles and protective clothing are recommended.STORAGE & HANDLING- Do not dump when unloading.- Lift boards when removing one from a stack. Avoid dragging boards across each other.- Store on a flat surface supported every 24 inches.- Discard scrap with normal construction or household waste.- Because it contains plastic, LifeTime must not be burned.CLEANING - Periodic hosing and sweeping will keep your LifeTime product looking its best. - LifeTime Lumber will resist most stains and can be cleaned in most cases by using mild soap and water. - For any stains that are difficult, use a citrus cleaner, then rinse thoroughly. - Harsh chemicals, power/pressure washing, and use of hard bristle and brushes are not recommended.
PAINTING/STAINING - LifeTime Lumber does not require painting. However, it can be painted. - If painting new boards, no primer is required. - If painting boards that have been in place for a year or longer, use a primer for water based paints. - Paint with a latex brand paint equal to Lowe’s Home Improvement. - Do not use oil-based paints or paint removers on LifeTime Lumber.
